Forrest City, Ark - Armor Bank Chief Executive Officer Chad T. May is pleased to announce Market President Greg Gibson will add the role of Director of Agriculture to his position with the bank.
A native of Marianna, Gibson has served as Market President of Armor Bank’s Forrest City branch since October 2022. He has a long-held connection to the Arkansas ag industry, dating back to his younger days working for his family’s ag aviation business. That association cultivated a deep respect for agriculture and, together with more than 11 years of commercial and ag lending experience, has uniquely prepared him for adding the challenge of this newly created position to his current role.
“It is my hope that this new, dedicated role will enable me to provide industry guidance across all of Armor Bank’s markets while growing the bank’s ag portfolio,” Gibson said. “It is an especially challenging time for farmers and agribusiness owners. It is important they know there is an investment being made that is in their best interests.”
Gibson is a graduate of the University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting & Finance. He is active in the community, serving as Board Chair for the Arkansas Community Foundation of Lee County; Vice-President of the Board of the Forrest City Industrial Development Corporation (FCIDC); and President of the Men’s Golf Association at the Marianna Country Club. He and his wife Chelsea make their home in Marianna. The couple shares two children, Hensley, 8, and Doss, 5.
