On December 31, 2016, Big Creek Bancshares acquired Forrest City Financial Corporation, the holding company of Forrest City Bank which was started in 1919 as Forrest City Savings and Loan. In March of 2017, Forrest City Bank officially changed its name to Armor Bank.
